All-In-One Cake and Frosting Cupcakes
I couldn’t wait to share this cupcake recipe with you! Ā Itās for All-In-One Cupcakes.Ā Yes, I said all in one.Ā It sounds pretty stinking awesome,Ā doesn’tĀ it?Ā A friend of mine, Bobby actually created this recipe and was super sweet and allowed me to post it on my website.
When I first started reading her recipe All in One Cake and Frosting, WHAT! Ā To be honest, I had no idea that was even possible but it totally. Huge, thanks to Bobby for sharing this recipe with us. Ā Now tell me that doesn’t look super yummy too.

All-In-One Cake and Frosting Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 6 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup butter or margarine softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups DominoĀ® Confectioners Sugar
- 2/3 cups milk
- 4 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cups water
Instructions
- Grab yourself a large mixing bowl. Now beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract together on medium speed until it’s nice and smooth.
- Add DominoĀ® Confectioners Sugar, alternately with milk, beat for 1-2 minutes or until blended.
- Remove 2 1/2 cups of frosting and place into plastic sealed bag. Set aside, you will use this again later.
Cake
- Now add eggs to remaining frosting and mix on slow speed until blended.
- In another bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add your flour mixture to the frosting and egg mixture alternately with water. Continue to beat for 1/2 minutes or until it’s nice and blended.
- Line up your cupcakes pan with liners and fill each one up with about 1/3 cup of mix
- Place in Oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until they are slightly golden brown on the top.
Icing
- Place your mixture into medium sized bowl
- Place your icing mixture into a medium sized bowl.
- Now add more powder sugar, 3 cups to be exact. Now add 1/3 cup of vegetable shortening
- Mix until nice and smooth and icing will stand at a peak.
