We recently had a Minions backyard bash, and I made these cute and easy to make Minions brownies for the kids. Okay, and the adults! Don’t worry, I’ll tell you all about the Minions Backyard Bash and how to make these super fun Minions Brownies.
I love the Minions; they make coming up with party ideas for kids easy and so much fun! When the last movie was released, I made mint cupcakes, for which I still need to share the recipe with you. I know I am behind, but hey, that’s life, right? We get busy; life happens, and it’s not always easy to stay on top of everything.
DIY Easy Minions Brownies Recipe
Ingredients:
- Mini Brownie Muffins
- 1 Large Package Marshmallows
- 1 Package of Candy candy melts
- Blue Cookie Frosting
- 2 Package Smarties
- Back Writing Jell
Let’s make this easy Minions Brownies recipe:
For the mini brownie muffins, I just used a brownie mix prepared like normal and cooked in a mini muffin pan.
After your mini brownie muffins are prepared, melt the yellow candy.
Before covering the marshmallow in the yellow candy melts, place a little dot on the wax paper. This is where you will put the marshmallow after it has been covered; it helps keep the bottom of the marshmallow covered while drying.
Place a toothpick or something similar on top of the marshmallow and cover completely.
Once the yellow coating has dried completely, put the marshmallow on top of your mini muffin brownie.
Use the blue cookie frosting to draw a blue line all the way around the minions; this will help connect the marshmallow and the brownie. Allow it to dry. Place a dab of black writing gel on the back of the candy as the eyes. Using the black writing gel, draw a line around the smarties, around the marshmallow, and place a dab in the middle of the smarties so it looks like an eye.
We recently got all sorts of goodies for our Minions backyard bash, which is great because all of us are excited to catch the new Minions movie on July 10th. Honestly, we have been counting down the days for a while now.
Finally, let the Minions Backyard Bash begin! Only this time, we were smart and set up the table indoors, just in case the rain decided to sneak up on us again.
My sister is a nut, but I love her! She got all dressed up in her yellow hat and apron to deliver Minions Brownies to everyone, lol. Notice she even have her blue towel. I got to love that!
We had a lot of fun; the kids loved the party, and of course, us adults had a blast too! Who couldn’t have fun? It was a mini-party!
