Roast Beef Mushroom Swiss Sliders
The downloadable recipe card is located at the end of this post. The recipe card will include ingredients and detailed directions, but I’ll walk you through the steps for creating the Roast Beef Mushroom Swiss Sliders with photographs just in case you have any questions or are like me, and sometimes a visual really helps put things together.
First, you’ll preheat the oven to 350 degrees, grab your baking dish, and prepare it by sparing it with cooking spray and setting it aside for later.
Next, you’ll combine the onion, mushrooms, garlic, and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large sauce pan and saute until the onions and mushrooms are soft.
Slice roast beef into strips and add the beef and the Seeds of Change Mushroom Simmer Sauce (if you can’t find this you can use something similar) to the sauteed mushrooms and onions and simmer for about 10 minutes. Be sure to read the directions on the back of your mushroom sauce in case you need to add anything else (water).
Remove the rolls from the package, but do not pull them apart. Cut them horizontally through the middle, so you have 2 slices ā 1 with all the tops and the other with all the bottoms of the rolls.
Place the bottom of the rolls in your baking pan and layer the roast beef, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese.
Put the tops of the rolls on top of the roast beef, mushroom, and cheese layers.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter, add Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and onion powder. Use a pastry brush to lightly coat the top of the rolls with the butter sauce.
Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
I hope you enjoy these Roast Beef Mushroom Swiss Sliders as much as we do.
