Course Christmas,, Dessert, Holiday
Servings 12

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo Cookies
  • 2 tubes Cookie icing or 1 bag of white candy melts (if you want to make the entire box of Oreo cookies)
  • Sprinkles (I used small black sprinkles for the eyes, long brown ones for the arms, silver round sprinkles for the buttons and long orange sprinkles for the nose.
  • 1 small bag Mini Reese Cups

Instructions

  • Lay out a piece of parchment paper.
  • Spread cookie icing on the top of the Oreo cookie so it looks like a puddle of snow melted.
  • While the cookie icing is still wet.
  • Cut the mini Reese in half and lay the cut side down on top of the Oreo cookie.
  • Using two black sprinkles or something edible, place the eyes under the hat.  Remember they don't have to be perfect, it's a melted snowman.
  • Using a long orange sprinkle, place the nose under the eyes.  Doesn't have to be perfect.
  • Using two long brown sprinkles, place one on each side for the arms.
  • Using three or so round sprinkles, place the buttons toward the bottom of the snowman. Remember your snowman is melting so it doesn't have to be perfect just in the general area.
  • Allow cookies icing to dry for a few hours. Enjoy!

Notes

You can also use candy melts rather than cookie icing on the Melted Snowman Cookies. I used cookie icing, but I'll be honest, I prefer Oreo's with candy melts. Either way they turn out great, I just think the candy melts complement the Oreo much better in my opinion.

You should be able to find candy melts at your local grocery store if not at Walmart or on Amazon.
