Directions for the cupcakes:
First off, you'll want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin pan with some cupcake liners so you are all ready to go once we get the batter made.
Next, sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into a medium-sized bowl. Put it to the side for later.
In a large bowl, combine cream and sugar with an electric mixer and mix until it's light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing after you add each egg. Now you'll add the vanilla extract, vanilla bean paste, and sour cream and continue mixing until combined.
Now you'll want to reduce your mixer speed to low and slowly add the flour mixture one half cup at a time. Mix until combined.
Fill each of your prepared cupcake lines about 2/3 of the way full.
Toss those bad boys in the oven for about 14 minutes or until you are able to insert a toothpick into the center and it comes clean.
Allow to cool completely.
