Green Chili Relleno Casserole Recipe

If you like Chili Relleno's then you should give this green chili relleno casserole a try. Customize it to your liking, it's delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef turkey, or chicken. It’s all good, lol.
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 20 ounces of Hatch green chili (you can used canned if you don't have access to Hatch Green Chili)
  • 1 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup DairyPure Milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare your 9 x 13” pan with cooking spray and set aside for later.
  • Dice onion and cook it with hamburger meat, salt, and pepper as well as any other seasonings you’d like to add.
  • Cover the bottom of the pan with whole green chilies.
  • Next add meat, cheese, and lay any leftover green chilies on the top of the cheese.
  • Whisk eggs, milk baking powder, and flour together until mixed completely.
  • Pour the egg mixture in the pan with green chili, meat and cheese and place in the oven to bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, allow to cool a bit and enjoy! It’s yummy warm, with melted cheese!
