I am sure you have seen Oreo-stuffed brownies floating around. They look pretty amazing, so I decided to give them a try with a Christmas twist to them using Oreo’s Christmas cookies. I have to say there is a reason these stuffed brownies are all over the place. They are sweet, delicious, but, fair warning, sweet. A little goes a long way, which is good.
Christmas Oreo Stuffed Brownies
Below is the ingredients you’ll need to make these Oreo stuffed brownies:
- Butter
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Eggs
- Cocoa
- Baking powder
- Dash salt
- Coffee
- Oreo’s
- Chocolate Chips measure with your heart 🙂
- Sprinkles
Directions:
Start off by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and preparing an 8×8 baking dish using nonstick spray.
Place butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave until softened, or leave on the counter until softened. I can’t seem to wait, so I always use the microwave.
In large mixing bowl, add butter, sugar, vanilla, and mix.
Mix in eggs one at a time.
Add cocoa and beat until combined.
Add flour baking powder salt and coffee and mix well.
Pour ½ of the batter into prepared baking pan.
Put a layer of your favorite Oreo’s; fill in empty spots by breaking Oreos to fit. The more Oreo’s the better according to my husband.
Pour remaining batter on top.
Place in oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until completely done. You can use the toothpick method to see if brownies are finished in the middle.
