If you are looking for a super sweet treat that not only tastes great but is also super fun and festive, you’ll want to try these no bake peanut butter snowballs. Oh, did I mention they are loads of fun to make? Yes, you’ll have to clean up the kitchen afterward, but that’s what makes it so much fun. If the kitchen is a mess when you are finished, you know you had fun. It’s even better if the kids are involved; it’s always more fun when the kids want to help out around the kitchen.
The best part about this no bake peanut butter snowball recipe is that it’s quick to make and there is no baking involved. Can’t complain there, especially around the holiday season when so many different things are going in and out of the oven.
No Bake Peanut Butter Snowballs Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups Jif creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar for coating
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine butter, powder sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla, and mix completely.
- Scoop the peanut butter mixture out and begin rolling balls, about 1 to 1.2 inches. When you are finished rolling the peanut butter ball, you can place it on the parchment paper and repeat until the peanut butter mixture is gone and all the balls are rolled. Place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes; it helps them stay together a little better. However, you can skip this step if you like; I just prefer chilling the peanut butter balls first.
- Put powdered sugar in a baggie, place a few peanut butter balls into the bag, and move around until thoroughly coated.
- Enjoy
